PRAYER FOR MEDITATION AND RETURN OF INVESTMENT
In einer der beiden Kreisprojektionen im Q18 im Quartier am Hafen in Köln von Peter Halves RETURN OF INVESTMENT kriechen neonfarbene Schlangen aus der Schale der Pandora in Richtung einer zerstörten Stadt, über Goldbarren und Luxusautos und hinein in einen unendlichen Lava/Kloakenfluss, in dem Köpfe diverser neoliberaler Politiker und Ökonomen ertrinken. Dazu ertönt elektronische Musik und analoges, abgründiges Seufzen und Heulen gestrichener und gekratzter Metallophone.
In one of the two circular projections at Q18 in the Quartier am Hafen in Cologne of Peter Halve’s RETURN OF INVESTMENT neon-colored snakes crawl out of Pandora’s shell toward a destroyed city, over gold bars and luxury cars, and into an endless river of lava/cloaca in which the heads of various neoliberal politicians and economists drown. This is accompanied by electronic music and analog, abysmal sighing and howling of bowed and scratched metallophones.
