Sanaz Starcic
Die Medienkünstlerin Sanaz Starcic schafft in ihren multimedialen Installationen und Szenographien surreale Räume, die sie aus Momenten des Lebens und Elementen der Natur kreiert.
So entstehen skulpturale Fusionen von verschiedenen Erdmaterialien und mondartigen Salzinseln. Bekannte Straßen verwandeln sich in surrealistische audio-visuelle Landschaften. Auf diesem Weg schafft Starcic neue Räume, die der Betrachter mit allen Sinnen erleben kann. Sie arbeitet in interdisziplinären Kontexten zwischen Bildender Kunst, Tanz/Theater und Film.
Sanaz Starcic arbeitet als Solokünstlerin und in Kollaborationen und Kollektiven, u.a. mit ihrem Mann Eduard Starcic und ist Teil des Künstlerinnenkollektivs Artistladieslovelove. Sie gestaltet Videoprojektionen, zuletzt für das Tanzkollektiv .dencuentro und ist Mitglied des Vereins Conmidea, der sich für die Sichtbarkeit von Kunst aus der Midearegion engagiert.
In her multimedia installations and scenographies media artist Sanaz Starcic creates surrealistic spaces, that are drawn from scences of life and elements of nature. She creates sculptural fusions of different soils, shapes moonlike salt island and turns well-known streets into surrealistic audio-visual landscapes. Through this practice Starcic creates new spaces to be experienced by the viewer through all their senses. Her work is placed in interdisciplinary contexts between fine arts, dance/theater and film
Sanaz Starcic works as a solo artist as well as in collaboration and collectives, amongst others with her husband Eduard Starcic and is part of the artist collective Artistladieslovelove. She designs video projections, e.g. for the dance collective .dencuentro. She is an associate of Conmidea, a society dedicated to practicing the visibility of art from the midea region.
