Nieves de la Fuente Gutiérrez zeigt sechs Überreste eines abgestürzten Raumschiffs als virtuelle Skulpturen. Vier davon befinden sich im Öffentlichen Raum, zwei in benachbarten Privatgärten. Alle sind während der Öffnungszeiten zu besichtigen und können mit Hilfe von Augmented Reality betrachtet werden. Erforderlich: das eigene Mobiltelefon.
Die Werke der Künstlerin kontrastieren mit den Funden, die das Römisch-Germanische Museum als Leihgaben für die parallel stattfindende Ausstellung – Titel: Discoveries, Fundstücke aus dem Kölner Süden – im Gebäude der FUHRWERKSWAAGE zur Verfügung stellt. Sie stammen aus der Zeit von etwa 6000 v. Chr. bis etwa zum 7. Jahrh. n. Chr.

Nieves de la Fuente Gutiérrez shows six remains of a crashed spaceship as virtual sculptures. Four of them are located in public spaces, two in neighbouring private gardens. All of them can be visited during opening hours and can be viewed with the help of augmented reality. Required: your own mobile phone.
The artist’s works contrast with the finds that the Roman-Germanic Museum is making available on loan for the parallel exhibition – titled Discoveries, Finds from the South of Cologne – in the FUHRWERKSWAAGE building. They date from around 6000 BC to around the 7th century AD.
