NEGUA
Augen zwinkern, schweifen sanft hin und her, und starren dann wieder auf den Betrachter: die interdisziplinäre Kunstinstallation NEGUA kombiniert Skulptur, Fotografie und visuelle Kunst.
Im Fokus steht das Auge: weit geöffnet, fest geschlossen, nach links blickend und nach rechts blickend werden je Besucher vier Fotos gemacht. Diese Bilder werden dann zur Projektion auf den Videorechner übertragen. NEGUA erwacht zum Leben, wenn sich auf den großen, weißen Kugeln, aus denen die raumgreifende Wabenstruktur geformt ist, die Augen seiner Betrachter öffnen. NEGUA lebt von dem besonderen Moment, in dem jedem Besucher klar wird, dass ihn irgendwo aus dieser Fülle auch sein eigenes Auge anblickt. Fasziniert von der raumgreifenden Installation sucht jeder sein eigenes Auge – und entdeckt die Schönheit und besonderen Merkmale der anderen.

Eyes blink, gently roam back and forth, and then stare back at the viewer: the interdisciplinary art installation NEGUA combines sculpture, photography and visual art.
The focus is on the eye: wide open, tightly closed, looking left, and looking right, four photographs are taken for each visitor. These images are then transferred to the video computer for projection. NEGUA comes to life when the eyes of its viewers open on the large white spheres that make up the expansive honeycomb structure. NEGUA lives from that special moment when every visitor realizes that somewhere out of this fullness his own eye is also looking at him. Fascinated by the expansive installation, everyone searches for their own eye – and discovers the beauty and special features of the others.
