24 Düsseldorfer Stadtarchitekturen ist eine intermediären Arbeit, die im Rahmen der Ausstellung sonic states im KIT – Kunst im Tunnel 2013 in Düsseldorf gezeigt wurde.
Die Räume wurden videographisch und akustisch in fünfminütigen StillSequenzen dokumentiert und waren innerhalb der Ausstellung in von den Künstlern mehrkanaligen erarbeiteten Klangarchitekturen erfahrbar.

In ihrer Arbeit konzipieren Schulte & Vuletic akustische Zustände, die skulpturale Qualitäten haben.
Akustische Realitäten werden sonographisch inszeniert und mittels Elementen der klanglichen Verdichtung und zeitlichen Entzerrung zu Hyperrealitäten geformt und sequentiell gegenübergestellt.
Die Künstler agieren hierbei innerhalb eines raumbezogenen, mehrkanaligen Lautsprecheraufbaus mittels dessen ästhetische Zustände architektonischer Klangräume geschaffen werden, denen neben den rein akustischen Parametern damit auch Bestimmungsfaktoren wie Nähe, Grösse, Richtung und Reflexion an Raumoberflächen zugrunde liegen.
Auf dieser gestalterischen Basis und den zugrunde liegenden, gemeinsamen Erfahrungen mit der künstlerischen Gestaltung von öffentlichen Plätzen und Räumen beginnen die Künstler mit der Entwicklung von Konzeptionen für die sonographische Inszenierung von Stadt und -Gebäudearchitekturen, Räumen und Objekten.
Hierbei werden ortsspezifische Gestaltungsideen in Abstimmung mit den örtlichen Gegebenheiten zu einer Inszenierungsform gestaltet, die von konzertant, performativen bis hin zu installativen Beschallungs-und Illuminierungssituationen variieren können.
In der ersten Phase suchen die beiden Künstler unabhängig voneinander klangliche Realitäten die sie dokumentieren und bearbeiten, Schulte mit der Perspektive auf den Architektur-Klang-Raum und Vuletic mit dem Fokus auf Mensch-Klang-Raum.
In der zweiten Phase wird die Wirkung dieser Zustände in der Gegenüber- oder Nebeneinanderstellung erforscht.
In der dritten Phase werden Klangzustände und Räume in konzertanter Form inszeniert und dem Publikum vorgestellt.
Für ihre performativ-installativen Inszenierungen deuten und gestalten Schulte & Vuletic den Raum als Tableau eigener Variationen der realen Zusammenhänge. Ein multidirektionaler Sinnesraum entsteht.

24 Düsseldorfer Stadtarchitekturen is an intermediary work that was shown as part of the exhibition sonic states at KIT – Kunst im Tunnel 2013 in Düsseldorf.
The spaces were documented videographically and acoustically in five-minute still sequences and could be experienced within the exhibition in multi-channel sound architectures created by the artists.

In their work Schulte & Vuletic conceive acoustic states that have sculptural qualities.
Acoustic realities are sonographically staged and formed into hyperrealities by means of elements of sonic compression and temporal distortion and sequentially juxtaposed.
The artists act within a space-related, multi-channel loudspeaker set-up by means of which aesthetic states of architectural sound spaces are created, which are based not only on purely acoustic parameters but also on determining factors such as proximity, size, direction and reflection on room surfaces.
On this design basis and the underlying shared experiences with the artistic design of public squares and spaces, the artists begin to develop concepts for the sonographic staging of city and building architectures, spaces and objects. In this process, site-specific design ideas are shaped into a form of staging in coordination with the local conditions, which can vary from concertante, performative to installative sound and illumination situations.
In the first phase, the two artists independently search for sonic realities that they document and process, Schulte with a perspective on architecture-sound-space and Vuletic with a focus on human-sound-space.
In the second phase, the effect of these states is explored in juxtaposition or juxtaposition.
In the third phase, sound states and spaces are staged in concert form and presented to the audience.
For their performative-installative stagings, Schulte & Vuletic interpret and design space as a tableau of their own variations of real contexts. A multidirectional sensory space emerges.
